In 1982, only 22 California Condors survived in the wild, and in an effort to avoid extinction of the species, several wildlife partners teamed together to recover the population of this majestic species.
Nicole Weprin is going to speak on her experience working with the Condor Recovery Program and discuss the species’ current status. Recovery areas include Pinnacles National Park and Redwood National Park. Those are close considering Condor foraging range. Be sure to attend this informative presentation!
