2026 Bird Recovery Update on Lower Klamath Lake National Wildlife Refuge and Fundraiser for Bird Ally X

September 9 from 5:30 - 8:00 PM

New Location: Watershed Row, 330 S 7th St, Klamath Falls

Join us for a special evening celebrating birds, wetlands, and the people working to protect them. The evening will feature a fundraiser social, live music, food, beverages, photo gallery, and a raffle.

All raffle proceeds will benefit Bird Ally X, a nonprofit organization of wildlife caregivers dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy. Their waterbird emergency hospital needs donations to continue caring for sick birds that have been affected by the avian botulism outbreak at the Refuges.

5:30 PM: Meet fellow bird enthusiasts and enjoy acoustic music, drinks and food

6:00 - 6:45 PM: Local wetland advocate Teresa “Bird” Wicks will discuss the importance of protecting wetland habitat in the Klamath Basin.

January Bill and Marie Travers of Bird Ally X will then share their recent work responding to the botulism outbreak at Lower Klamath Lake and Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuges.

6:45 - 8:00 PM: Raffle and more social time

We appreciate the local businesses and community members whose generous support makes this fundraiser possible!
