Moore Park: Sparrows, resident birds, and late migrants. Leader: Elijah Hayes. This trip is a walk along paved former roads, and sometimes trails, around Moore Park. There are many resident bird species there that can make this trip interesting any time of year, but an added attraction are the late migrants and various sparrow species that may be present. Meet at the first parking lot on the left inside Moore Park at 9am. There is a restroom building there. The paths are up and down with some that have a steeper gradient.The trip may be extended other nearby locations if participants are interested.  Bring binoculars, water, snacks, hat and sunscreen.
