Being blessed with a plethora of wilderness areas, marshes and forests, lakes and rivers, KBAS members know how important these areas are for humanity's well-being. We like to keep abreast of what we can do to help preserve our wilderness areas nation wide so that everyone has the opportunity to be touched by nature: to see a flock of song birds, to witness the flight of a raptor, to listen to the merry melody of a crystal clear spring. The National Audubon Society provides timely, pertinent updates on all of the important environmental issues at the national level and provides easy avenues for acting to preserve the wilderness areas within our nation.
